When I received an e-mail and read the words “guac dumpling” my heart did a weird sort of dance and then my mouth began to simultaneously water thinking about how such a collaboration even exists, but then sure enough when I arrived at the East Village dumpling spot I have been known to frequent (if you remember the Thanksgiving flavor from from November) I knew already they would be an instant hit.
A deliciously inventive and healthy collaboration between the By Chloe Guac Burger consisting of black beans, quinoa, sweet potato, corn salsa, guacamole, and tortilla strips and Mimi Cheng’s ever-deliciously wrapped skins and pan fried to the perfect crisp served with beet ketchup and chipotle aioli.
