The upcoming Yeah Yeah Yeahs album cover is a pink baby eating flubber hanging from a giant purple mosquito

Ummm hello 1996? The new Yeah Yeah Yeahs cover for their upcoming album Mosquito due out April 16 is very Butthole Surfers: Electriclarryland-like mixed with hints of some inspiration from the forever rememberable art of the Nirvana Nevermind record. And I love it!

An agency Beomsik Shimbe Shim thought up the design, and it’s pretty trippy to say the least—I mean: a jar full of what looks to be straight out of the movie Flubber spewing, as a raging, blood thirsty mosquito sucks the life out of this pink baby’s leg? Talk about sick nasty (like, the super f%#*^ing awesome sick nasty, of course.)
