The Q Foods: coming home to Cleveland for #CavsEats

I don’t always use the hashtag #BlessedAndGrateful, but when the Cavs said I could come swing by the Q (I’m a pretty big fan) for #CavsMavs to cover Quicken Loans Arena’s abundant food options aka The Q Foods, the next thing you know I was valet parking downtown on the up-and-coming East 4th Street in Cleveland for a night with fellow food blogger CLEfoodies who I had the pleasure of meeting to share some Cle food love.

And you know it’s going to be a good night when you get to enjoy two of your favorite things together, sports *and* food:

Pre-gaming with Rocco’s nachos (also featured in main pic):

Pretzel Shoppe:

Former Cavalier Elmore Smith’s BBQ joint nachos (that sauce though!):

Even more Elmore Smith….IRL!

Fabio Salerno’s Meatball Sub at LAUNCH Test Kitchen, a new digital pop-up restaurant concept at select stadiums and venues:

Matt Mytro’s Risotto Balls at LAUNCH:

Karen Small’s Loaded Potatoes at LAUNCH:

B Spot “Championship Ring” Burger in honor of the 2015-2016 wine and gold champions:

Great chat with the CAVS CHEF, David Katz who’s doing some exciting culinary ventures in Cleveland such as his restaurant FIRE known for their brunch and a hand-crafted spice mix company:

Nerding it out post-game outside the Cavs locker room:

If you ever have the pleasure of visiting my hometown for a Cavs game, you already know you’ll be needing some nachos, and burgers, and meatball subs, and risotto balls, and—well, you get the point—to go with a wine and gold win in #TheLand:

I am honored to have been given the opportunity to cover #CavsEats, and I hope to see the guys make a repeat this season and reign as the NBA champs! Go Cleveland!
