Now available to the entire universe: massive Carl Sagan archive accessible via Library of Congress (thanks, Seth MacFarlane)

When he’s not directing and starring in Westerns or movies about weed-smoking bears, he’s doin’ the universe a HUGE favor by making Carl Sagan’s entire documental archive available on the Library of Congress website. Previously you could access the 800 or so documents, letters, articles, and videos (like HOME videos of Carl as a young lad playing piano!) but only tangibly in person (like inside the Library of Congress). So this is huge for Sagan enthusiasts and scientists who are curious in learning beyond The Demon Haunted World, Pale Blue Dot, and of course his 1980 series COSMOS: A Personal Voyage (that’s also being rebooted by MacFarlane hosted by Neil deGrasse Tyson!).
