Indulging scoop by scoop at OddFellow’s NYC

If I had one wish, it would be that I could have an unlimited access card to all the ice cream shops in New York, because I’m never not Yelping the nearest place to get my scoop on. And the other day while roaming around the LES (75 East 4th Street), I guess it must have just been my lucky day, because my favorite flavor Birthday Cake was one of OddFellow’s flavors of the day

Their flagship location is actually in Williamsburg on 175 Kent Avenue, where everything is made from scratch (yes, even the waffle cones). For obvious reasons I love OddFellow’s: homemade ice cream with a cause (for every dollar spent at the shops, $0.05 is donated to the Food Bank of New York City), weird experimental flavors like Cedar Creamsicle, S’Mores, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Pretzel—the flavor archive is quite outrageous, actually (outrageously awesome!)—not to mention they only use locally sourced additive-free dairy.

Overall: five stars. My only recommendation is GET TWO SCOOPS, whatever you do; one just isn’t enough for this stuff.
