The “Let’s Pizza” vending machine cooks 10.5 inch pies in 2.5 minutes and gives us another excuse to be fat

Someone out there is always plotting new ways for us to get fat (consider the Darth Vader Burger for one). The latest: The Let’s Pizza vending machine that has an infrared oven, invented by Claudio Torghehi and distributed by the Amsterdam-based company A1 Concepts.

The vending machine makes 10.5-inch fresh pizza pies to your liking, from the time the fresh dough starts to bake, until the time the cheese finally melts for only $5.99. And you’re probably wondering: How could a vending machine really cook that good of pizzas? Well, as it turns out, they are reportedly delicious and only 676 calories with 22.6 grams of fat (OK maybe not the healthiest).

CEO of A1 Concepts Ronald Rammers told Pizza Marketplace that “Each pizza machine is connected to the Internet to control stock. If necessary, besides the standard services, the operator will (re-stock). Each pizza machine contains ingredients for 200 pizzas[.]”

So far the Let’s Pizza machines have been distributed anywhere from airports to shopping malls, and we think once the good word spreads further we’ll have a less-harder time configuring our late night pizza options.
