Go figure a new earbud design leaks right before the latest iPhone comes out (only 10 days ’til the big event!). I’m digging the look, and to be honest they remind me a lot of miniature blowdryers (or maybe that’s just me…). The design also looks more wholesome–what  Tinhte calls a “fully integrated, single unit,” which could mean they’re less likely to fall apart on you.

Supposedly the redesign won’t hurt when you wear them in your ear, either. A good sign for all of us (if you’ve ever dealt with the old design, you’d know they aren’t the most comfortable in the world–especially after more than an hour).

The video does lack a view of the product in its entirety, leading me to believe this might just be another bogus leak. It’d be a disappointment if Apple stuck to the old design, but time’ll tell if these are the real thing.
