Longing for Montauk with Union Fare’s LOBSTER ROLL CROISSANT

What happens when super delicious pastry meets seafood greatness? How about while wishing you were on the beach sipping on Rose all summer? Well the answer is easy, and it lies inside the walls of UNION FARE.

Created by UF Executive Chef Yvan Lemoine, his missing Montauk while busy working hard at the bakery inspired the LOBSTER ROLL CROISSANT (not to be confused with Chef Thiago‘s BIRTHDAY CAKE CROISSANT ), an absolute dream combination of foods that when put together are known to cause great ecstatic shocks through the body (but seriously).

Watch Chef Lemoine prepare the delicacy in this lobstah roll time lapse:

It’s no coincidence Union Fare so happens to rhyme with Union Square, either; it’s located north of the park on 17th Street, just enough away from the ruckus that you won’t have to worry about being too claustrophobic (however it does get super busy and don’t be surprised to find the gastro hall filled).
