Yes, you heard correctly: Blondie’s makin’ another comeback in new Ghosts of Download album

When it comes to Debbie Harry and the achieved status of female lead singer badassery, this one’s pretty much stolen the show with her resume of you know, starting the band BLONDIE, for one (no big deal guys, it’s just BLONDIE, one of the greatest bands in rock history). But not going to lie I was a little surprised to hear they’d be coming out with a 10th studio album Ghosts of Download sometime this year (rumor has it in early March). Will it even be possible to top the 1977 hit Parallel Lines with songs like “Pretty Baby”, “Sunday”, and of course “One Way”? Maybe, and I’m not doubting for one second the talent of Blondie will fail us ever, but the last 2001 album Panic of Girls didn’t really do it for me AS much as I would have liked, so maybe this one’s got some new-found spunk that might’ve been missing in 2001.

Check out the single “Rose By Any Other Name” for a little taste of what’s to come later on in the year.
