Empanadas, SON!: authentic Argentinian bites open late-night

Whenever I’m in the LES I have my specific go-to spots, but nothing is quite as fun as an EMPANADAS, SON! run.

The name says it all (SON!): baked Argentinian delights in my personal favorite area to hang in the city, that might I add is open ’till the wee hours of 2:30AM on most nights (you can see their hours here) with super late-night empanadas on the weekends.

Here is a lovely goat cheese arugula empanada that really is quite literally the GOAT of empanadas:

If you’re on Delancey definitely pop in for a quick taste of Empanadas, Son! and their new-ish shop giving their much-needed original Argentinian fix.
