Dining at Jonathan Sawyer’s Noodlecat: a fresh and modern take on Japanese cuisine in the heart of Cleveland

Roaming around downtown Cleveland you’d be surprised at the amount of food options you have to choose from. So if you’re looking to try something different and fresh (that’s also healthy with many vegetarian options!), definitely make a trip to Jonathan Sawyer’s Noodlecat (located downtown on Euclid Avenue) for a meal so delicious, you’ll already be planning your next visit back.

I always have an amazing experience at Noodlecat and have been wanting to capture the uniqueness of this place for a while now, so here is my most recent meal in photographs (you know, in case you needed more persuasion to eat some mighty fine ramen noodles and steam buns):

Left: Fresh Summer Tomato Steam Buns with lemon aioli & sprouts Right: Yuzu Kosho Edamame with salt, pepper, citrus & spice

Noodlecat

Red Ginger, Leek Ends, Red Pepper, Cucumber, Pickled Watermelon, House Kimchi, Pickled Choy Stems, Berry Tea Montage

Noodlecat 3

Hokkaido Ramen with roasted pork, cream corn broth, chili oil, dried corn, corn bone & scallion

Noodlecat

Dan Dan Ramen with spicy garlic oil nama ramen, seasoned nuts, sweet soy & basil

Noodlecat Mochi
